Prenax is pleased to announce its integration with Bailey Solutions library systems (KnowAll Matrix and Simple Little Library System), saving admin time for their mutual clients; cutting down on mistakes; and making law librarians’ jobs easier.
Bailey Solutions provides library management software on a Software as a Service basis to help library managers manage the cataloguing and acquisition of library and information resources. Prenax helps customers improve their publication ordering and subscription processes as well as bringing down the costs of spend on content. By integrating their systems, the two suppliers can reduce the time knowledge and information professionals spend on admin, freeing them up to carry out enquiry work and support fee-earning.
All the customer needs to do is approve the order in the Prenax portal and the rest is automated. Bailey Solutions receives the order and invoice data via electronic data interchange (EDI). From there, the automated process populates the catalogue, creates the order, records the invoice and assigns the cost to a budget code in the client’s library system. In all up to 55 fields are automatically completed.
Prenax and Bailey Solutions already have a few mutual customers such as Charles Russell Speechlys and Gowling WLG benefiting from the integration.
Penny Bailey, Bailey Solutions Managing Director comments, “We are always looking for ways to save our clients time and offer better value. We have decided not to charge extra for the integration. It’s part of the usual monthly or annual subscription”.
Jan den Hartog, Managing Director at Prenax comments, “We are delighted to be partnering with Bailey Solutions and deliver an improved library management experience for our clients. We are excited about how the solution we’ve developed benefits all parties involved by removing labour-intensive, manual administrative tasks from the knowledge management process”.
